Luna

Luna is a cat,

A lunatic cat.

My second daughter calls her Luna,

This house called her Lunatic.

Our reasons for calling her that are;

One; she was crazy,

Two; she was deadly crazy,

Three; she was wildly crazy!

Let me add again, this cat is super crazy.

She has major rules for this house

One rule she has for us is that we cannot share her space.

Two, we cannot look at her face at any time of the day.

Three, we must get out of her way while she is walking around.

Four, we must prepare to give her what she wants, or else she’ll scratch our eyes out.

She was not interested in anyone's point of view or rules, even her owners'.

I know this is true for my daughter because I can see fresh, bloody scratches on her small arms and legs.

This cat had the potential to be trained to kill using her sharp claws.

We think her ancestors were lynx hybrids because of her strong features.

I begged my daughter to get her blood tested but she thought it was a senseless idea.

We just tilted our heads wondering if she was listening to our true concerns.

Well, we did not have to worry about this mystery question since Lunatic ran away from home.

The house was largely ecstatic.

My daughter made a house search for her deadly hybrid cat.

She had no luck, she was nowhere to be found!

We thought about hiring someone who would listen to her epic cries,

It never happened because her cat was spotted around the corner.

She called for her.

The wild cat stopped,

Their eyes connected.

In the blink of an eye, her horrible, unbalanced lynx sprinted away from our home.

She was never seen again.

Good riddance to her wild, evil cat.

This house is our haven again.

Years later, we moved out of the neighborhood. Whenever this family take a drive around the old

house, she swears she sees that cat in combat.

Everyone shakes their heads and laughs.

This is a true short story.
